Halifax Allocation day.

Post by hanyrose »

I've just received the email..... DD got in at NHG! She ranked 374 so I wasn't sure whether or not we'd have to go through the appeals process so am extremely relieved and happy. What great news she'll be waking up to. Hope you all get the news you're wanting tomorrow.

Wow, I bet that felt like a long wait since October - well done!

Feeling over the moon to have another child going to CH. Second in two years - no pressure on child three then!

For information, this year's child ranked 222 and got CH as first choice.

Congrats to all who have got their first picks.

My DS got his first choice of Crossley Heath. For info, he was ranked 278 so we weren't quite sure where he would end up - CH or NHGS.

Over the moon with CH as it's within walking distance and a great school. After the hard work he put in from June to September, he'll be delighted when he comes back from school today.

Now I can relax as we have another 6 years before it's DD turn!

Thanks to all for your help on these forums. I'll still keep any eye on things, especially given some of the changes being proposed as I'm hoping to be better prepared next time around.

Well done mrb - it looks like you'll be able to take it easy for a few years.
