calderdale VR question types
Hi All
I’m new to the site but there looks to be lots of help out there!
My son wants to take the 11 plus next year and I’ve a couple of questions:
• Does anyone know what question types are included in the VR tests in Calderdale. Is it the full 21 types or just 15? I’ve read somewhere that some areas set all 21 question types and some just 15 but I can’t find detail specific to Calderdale. Can anyone help?
• I’m new to the forum and haven’t worked out some of the acronyms. What does DS, DD DC etc mean when referring to our kids?
many thanks!

Re: calderdale VR question types
Hi Minihaha,
Welcome to the forum.
Calderdale VR exams have previously been Nfer/GL and use the 21 types.
You can find a list of the common forum abbreviations here.http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 38&t=13507" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
DD, DS & DC are all used to help preserve the anonymity of the member and child.

Re: calderdale VR question types
............ and mean: DD - Dear Daughter. DS - Dear Son. DC - Dear Child.
HTH (hope that helps).
Good luck with next year - if you need any more help just come back, there's always someone about.
