Can't believe how quiet it is in this forum. DS is due to sit exam next year and would really like NHGS but I'm concerned with the English changes he may struggle as this is by far his weakest subject.

Wondered how everyone got on Saturday, and any feedback on the new exam style? Had a look at the practise papers and found the English was quite hard - was it this hard in the actual exam?

Also, anyone any ideas on numbers - is it likely the new format would attract a higher level of entrants? I did notice they extended the deadline by an extra week.

Welcome yorkylass, :)

It can be a little quiet in Yorkshire. It is fine to discuss the test generally but please DO NOT post any test content on the forum, because the same paper may be used for late testers.

The same paper is never used. It is always a different paper according to the school
