11 Plus Exams Forum

Hi,

Recently moved from Ireland and we're totally unfamiliar with entrance exams as we have the 11+ there.
I know Loreto have Maths, Verbal reasoning, English and creative writing exams, could anyone tell me if any of these exams are multiple choice?
Does anyone have any idea of what the creative writing consists of? Can't find any info on this.
Getting really stressed out. Any information on any part of the test would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome. I believe the maths is not multiple choice, but the English test is. I am rather in the dark about the creative writing as well, other than they are presented with a list of titles to choose from. Good luck.

the creative writing is a quick 20minute essay to judge borderline passes etc....
the rest is multiple choice and i believe examples can be found in the nfer papers that you can buy which are very good for practising
