When I rang the school when results came out they said I had to wait for allocation of placesto come out March 2010 before I could appeal even though she didn't get the qualifying mark.

I have since heard that appeal should have been sent within 14 days of receipt of results.

Can somebody please tell me which is correct and if you know of any persons who have successfully appealed. :?

Many thanks :

Hi, I'm in the same position with Loreto and I have been speaking on numerous occassions to the school. What you were told the first time is correct. We had to wait until Trafford sent out allocations on 1st march as that is the offical allocation time and now we have 14 days to return the appeal.... So by the end of this week the appeal needs to be in. Good luck, now all I have to do is start writing the letter.
