I'm seriously considering DIY tutoring but as a Plan B I'd really appreciate a recommendation for a Tutor within easy access of Timperley. This would be to start in September 2012 to help my son (now in Yr 4) get into Alty Boys or Sale. I'd be very grateful if someone could PM me with names of good ones. Also is one-to-one tutoring better than group tutoring? What are the pros and cons? What do people think?

Thank you!!!!

Hello Bazzjazz
Our kids have all had different types of tutoring. What suited one didn't suit another. We have done one to one, group and one to one within a small group. It depends on your child. All of mine are so different and needed different approaches.
Good luck.
