Thanks for that, it was something I was theoretically considering as a last resort if it offered me a failsafe method of securing a place for my daughter but having done some homework I see it as a non starter.

Thankyou for your suggestions. My daughter does indeed attend a school in a nominated deanery which hopefully will stand us in good stead re Loreto.

However I must confess that we aren't practising Catholics and as such my daughter finds religious studies at her current school tiresome and is worried as to what extent religious studies / extra curricular activities will be a part of life at Loreto. It would naturally be very tough to broach this subject directly with Loreto and I wonder if any other parents have this same concern ?
