Hi all,

very late starters here! We've just found out we're moving to Sale at Christmas, and my poor son has had 3 weeks of prep for his 'in year' entrance test, which is this Wednesday!

Does anyone know what the rules are around writing on the paper? are they allowed to write notes on the paper, or do they get / can they take blank pieces of paper to write notes on?

Many thanks, any other last minute advise would be much appreciated!

me again! Also, if anyone could PM me details of a tutor for one last minute session on Tuesday evening, that would be great! he has been seeing a tutor for the last three weeks, but she doesn't know about Sale Grammar specifically.

When my DD sat the entrance exam for sale she was not given any working paper but she wrote on the question paper.

I can pm you details of a local tutor that may do a last minute lesson as a one off but I know they are very booked up normally but they would have knowledge of the tests. I presume your ds is not yr 10 or 11 as the test would be different format to entrance exams.
