Can you just confirm the difference between the coloured labels, what do they actually mean?

Sorry but I couldn't find any mention of these labels on the NFER site and have not heard of them before. If you look in the Book Shop on this website you should find them quite easily.

My son will do the 11+ next year. He did a Bond non-verbal reasoning paper for practice (age 8-9 - I bought them a while back) and got 42/48 - 4 of his 6 mistakes were on the same type of questions where you had to say which picture came next in a story.

As far as I can see, the 9-10 books don't have this question type.

I then mentioned this to a friend who said that she didn't think Trafford used this question type in the 11+ - is this correct?

On a related subject, does anyone have any experience of making intelligent 9-year-old boys understand the instruction "You have 1/2 hour for this. If you finish early check your work!" in the context of the Maths paper?
