Entry to sixth form at ABGS as an external candidate

Hi would some advise from parents/students who are or have attended ABGS for sixth
below is the relevant link from their site
form.http://www.agsb.co.uk/doclib/admissions ... Policy.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
my questions are:
1) 48 gcse points seems rather low ( ave B grade) with grade A at proposed A level subjects, what is a more realistic requirement at the " top eight" gcse for external candidates?
2)it states at least 4 places are avialable for ext candidates , what is the ave number of ext candidates accepted?
3) on ABGS web-site it states aprox 54% A/A* at A levels-what % of candidates who get A* go on to get A/A* at A level particularily in further maths
4) what is the ave class size for A level physics , chemistry , maths, further maths?
5)is there any prep for Oxbridge entry i.e for interviews , STEP exams ect?
in general I find the web-site very disappointing, there is no detail break down of results of gsce or A levels subject by subject or department by department e.g how does the physics department compare to the chemistry department for this yr or any previous yr or univeristy destinations .
any reason for this lack of candid disclosure ? all this information is avialable on the AGGS site
all comments/advise wellcomed
