Loreto Admissions help
Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on whether or not any girls have managed to get into Loreto from Lymm/Grappenhall/Warrington or any other non-nominated deanery? Girls that haven't attended the prep I mean. Would really appreciate any knowledge that anyone has.

Re: Loreto Admissions help
Hi On The Brink,
My daughter goes to Loreto she isn't from a nominated Deanery and didnt go to the prep , we live in Wilmslow there are plenty of girls in her year from Warrington, Bramhall Stockport to name a few areas. The buses are always full in the mornings when my daughter gets on in Heald Green, so they certainly are not all coming from nominated Deaneries.

Re: Loreto Admissions help
Its worth pointing out that the admissions criteria changed a couple of years ago. Once the catchment schools are allocated- the admission is based on scores not distane, used to be distance. So potentially you could have two out fo catchment girls on the same road and one gets in and one doesn't- this happened to someone I know.
