...is also online now for comments. Looks like they have amended the oversubscription criteria to add a third category of those scoring in the top 20 results irrespective of home address i.e. an OOC opportunity, so it goes, LAC, siblings, top 20, nearest straight line distance.

Given that their previous intakes have been fulfilled at about the 2 mile mark, I wonder if this will mean the catchment will now reduce e.g to 1.5miles.

So that would be similar to UGS where the top 20 get automatic entry, in the year my DD did it ,admittedly as 11+ tourist since that yr UGS came first in the round of exams in Trafford and all in sundry turned up almost 1000 so called applicants! usually sores at UGM have to be over 400 at least for this privilege but this standardised mark drops significantly by March! in the end my understanding is most of the top 20 places are taken up local Urmston youngsters at scores of about 380 + or -
