Hi,

Does anyone know the weightings given to the different sections in the Sale entrance test? I was reading about another CEM administered test where the weightings were: 50% verbal, 30% maths and 20% NVR.

I am DIYing so it will be really helpful to plan study sessions.

Don't know but would like to... I initially thought that VR may be weighted higher, similar to Birmingham and Slough as the VR is quite English language focused and AGGS were trying to change to a more English focused exam before they were overruled, and this would meet their ambitions, but I don't know about Sale's motives. As it is the first year, they may all be equally weighted, but this may be less likely as CEM will surely be aware of the trend to prefer to weight towards VR in other regions.
