Has anyone got an (understandable) answer as to why these results were re-standardised?
Didn't really hear anything about it till we got the letter yesterday.
All the marks have gone up! :?

How intriguing! I haven't heard anything about it but I'm at the south end of the borough and I don't know anyone who has taken the Stretford exam.

So they issued results and then re-issued higher results? :o

Yes, they released a 'press release' on their website telling you why all the results were to be re-standardised because they had been too 'restrictive'?
I don't know when this was, as I didn't know anything about it till the new scores came yestrday!

Weird. Maybe as it's the first year of Stretford going it alone they under-estimated how many passes they'd need to fill their places and now all the CAFs are in Trafford have told them they needed to up the passes in order to fill the places!
