Interesting facts (not sure how reliable) from another website for those waiting to see if their pass in the Salisbury exams has got them a place. It seems the girls may have an issue this year if these numbers are correct. I think it is the first time that the pass rate has been different for the girls and boys. They always used to set the pass mark together.

"Results are out today. Pass mark for the boys: 307. Pass mark for the girls: 302"
"Only 128 boys passed the exam, so with 120 places, most of those who passed will get in. There will be a few who do not take up a place so that will help matters further.

162 girls passed the exam. This might be a year when the boys cut off distance is further out than the girls"
