Did any girl get through on a parents appeal this year? So far, I haven't heard of any. Just making some prep.for next year just in case! Great site.

There were 27 appeals and 9 were successful.

Thank you for that info. AM. Any news on Calday successful appeals? I read on here that it was over subscribed this year.

Just posted in the appeals section, we have been successful in getting our son into Calday on appeal
. He had passed the eleven plus but we had tried (and failed) to beat the system with tactical preferencing because it was over subscribed this year
.
I would be interested to know how many others got in to Calday on appeal if anyone knows.

I hear that 16 of 40 appeals, a good number of which were boys who had met the standard but put Calday 2nd, were allowed.
