I am confused (not an unusual state) as to how the passmark of 236 translates into percentage marks. can anyone gove a definitive answer to what percentage my son should be scoring to achieve a pass. This is for my own reassurance rather than his I might add

Hiya Den

236 is the score to pass out of a possible 284 this equates to about 85% ,so aim for that or above.( I know your son is Nov b'day so no age points like mine!)

As far as petting 2 grammars goes,I think it would only work if you were a lot futher from one than the other,ie didn't get aplace in 1st choice because to far away but nearer 2 second choice,but I think you'd be best with 2 all ability.
