whats the nearest primary schools to heart of parkgate, looking for good/outsanding ofsted, must be localish, thnaks

Galton Primary very good but not sure of catchment! if you look on Wirral Gov website it gives you all the school catchment for very road in Wirral! Hope this helps:)

The school you are looking for is Parkgate Primary School. Parkgate can be a nice place to live but the senior school run can be a bit of a drag.

thanks, the ofsetd and recommendations seem to suggest thats not the best school in the area, what do you think? which is nearest high school?thanks

I don't know much about it to be honest. It is over the Cheshire border rather than Wirral. The nearest High School to Parkgate is Neston High School, which is a fairly bog-standard comprehensive but in a semi-rural rather than inner-city sense. You will find people travelling further to the Grammar and independent schools, but what takes 20 mins in the middle of the day can take a lot longer during the day.

St Peter's Heswall has a good reputation (better than Gayton imho), as is where the ladies that lunch but don't want to pay for education send their kids.
