Is Calday Oversubscribed?

Hi,
Was just wondering if anybody knows if Calday is oversubscribed this year?

Hi Scatshouse,
Give Admissions a call they will tell you and they don't ask for your name. I would call them but I think they are guessing my failing different accents now..
I found out Wirral Girls and Upton are through them and they are very helpful.

No sorry,
A friend who placed Wirral Girls first and West Kirby second got West Kirby as her allocated school.
Have no idea as to if they have places available though.
Give admissions a call..

I have heard that Calday is undersubscribed this year and only have around 160 boys so far.
If only this had been the case last year, we would not have had to go through the appeal process

Has anybody chosen Wirral Grammar Boys? It seems to me everybody has chosen Calday for their sons this year!

So too many spaces for our boys and not enough for our girls eh! Or maybe we Wirral gals are the brighter gender!!!!

Hi Scathouse! My R is going to Wirral Boys. We live very close as previously mentioned and we never even thought about putting Calday as second choice as it seemed too far away for them to consider R. Our second choice was South Wirral then Beb third. R will be there with Master Scathouse in September. Only 5 boys passed from his school although the girls did well, although there are more of them!
