Allocation advice
Could someone please advise reagrding preferences.
I live in Bebington. If I put Calday 1st and WGB 2nd, but Calday is filled with people who live closer than us, what happens to my WGB choice. Do I then come lower down the admissions list for WGB than boys who live further out eg Ellesmere Port, but who put it first.
In other words, are all the applicants who express any preference for a particular school lumped together and ranked according to admission criteria, or are first preferences ranked and allocated, followed by a further waves of allocations for the others. The allocations have to start somewhere surely; it can't be resolved simultaneously.
Hope that makes sense. Thanks.
