Is anyone's daughter sitting this exam? It's a non verbal reasoning test which is a blow as we have been practicing verbal for 10 months now! If anyone is sitting it, what practice papers are you using? The weird thing is it's not even a question of doing your best as there are 5 ability bands which they are going to randomly select from after musical ability and sibling connection places have been accounted for! so even if your DD does brilliantly there is no guarantee at all she will be one of the 10 selected for her band. A massive lottery but we didn't like our local high school.
