Yes, it is a Susan Daughtrey question, the technique books and graded tests [5 in each book] are helpful for areas still using standard form.

Oh great. So for DS2 (Reading Exam) I teach him the names of fishes and for DD (Kendrick) I have to teach her the sizes as well.

Sadly on my desk I have some index cards where I record families of words as they pop up, for example hand tools, religious buildings and people, ranks!, obscure colours, trees, flowers, fish, writing tools, boats, transport parking areas, landscape types, units of time, garden tools, building trades, fasteners, etc. Would any one like to add a few more.
