Anyone got a good aproach to these questions. My dd just can't seem to get them and I can''t really think of a strategy that is not really time consuming. Any ideas?

not really , just the usual look at first letter, then second and so on. Learning the alphabet is good and learning it as an "arc"

imagine a rainbow with a on the left end, z on the right and the peak being m and n.
it gives quite a good feel of where a letter is in the alphabet, a quarter of the way through etc. Have used this with dyslexic children and it works well

other than that , loads of practice!

This is a very dated Verbal Reasoning question type.

Do you know which publisher is providing the test for the school you are applying for?
