These code questions take us forever to work out. Anyone got any strategies for making them quicker.

CASH PACK SACK HEAP

2159 4613 3159

One code is missing and they are not written in the same order as they word.

2 have *159 as ending so are 'sack' and 'pack'. 3rd has '3' at the end so = either 's' or 'p' - has to be 'heap'. Based on values known 'cash' = 5124.

I suggest looking for patterns

two number codes finish with the same numbers - so they have to be pack and sack. (In this case it also solves the middle letters as well.)

so 159 represents ACK.

Looking at first numbers 2 and 3, they represent P or S, it is then seeing where that number is in the third combination. In this case there is a 3 at the end so the third word must be HEAP.

sorry still cant see it. The furthest I can get without getting completely lost is that SACK and PACK have three numbers in common then I try matching the letters to the number and get lost.
