FR is to UI as DL is to ?

Can someone please explain why the answer is WO?, brain's shut down!

You need to have the alphabet handy and you will see that
F = U (the letters are all have 5 positions to the end left and right)
Therefore
D = W (3 positions to the the end both ways)
L = O (11 positions to the end both ways)

My explanation is a bit rubbish but if you have the alphabet in front of you it is much easier to see the series.
