Hi all,
My son has just done his first SD VR paper (paper 6 I think) and got 84% - would this be considered a good score?
Also may I ask, is this considered to be a hard paper or one of the easier ones?
Thanks in advance...
Brenda Jean

One last thing does she only do VR papers?

Dear Brenda Jean

The score will depend on the area you child is sitting the 11 plus, here in Bucks a score of 90% is appropriate, other schools/areas will vary . In addition his score will be dependent on what coaching/tutoring he has already received. How long have you been preparing? What other tests has he completed?

The 2 packs of Verbal Reasoning are each graded, I use them in the following order 1, 5, 2, 6, 3, 7, 4, 8

Hi Patricia,
Thanks for your reply.
He has been preapring for about a year now.
He usually gets high 90's in the Bond, IPS etc.
He got the first five wrong and then seemed ok from there on in.
Someone gave me them to try to be honest so I didnt really know there was any order.
We are looking at Kent and Bexley.

I am guessing you are looking at the superselectives in Kent.

You need around 75% in VR to achieve the maximum standardised score of 140 in Kent.

About 55% is whats required for a pass for most grammars here in Kent.

Hi. Does anyone know what score is required for the Essex and Redbridge exams?
