I hope this hasn't been asked already - I did do a search but to no avail.

I was in WHSmiths the other day and was browsing the 11+ section. I saw some papers by Letts and also some by NFER. Does anyone know the difference?

The NFER Papers:
http://shop.gl-assessment.co.uk/home.php?cat=290 - it has the alphabet on it
http://shop.gl-assessment.co.uk/home.php?cat=288 - it has noughts and crosses on it

I've not got these ones...? Does anyone know the difference?

Oops, I just saw the papers in the EPE bookshop. So they are the same as the Letts papers, I'm understanding, only with a different cover.

Why would they both be in the same shop? Imagine someone bought both...?

To add to the confusion the New Letts papers have the same covers as old NFER.

The difference is the new Letts say "created by expericed examiners and teachers" whereas old NFER/Letts had "created by the real 11+ test publishers".

If you want another diff set from the ones you have then you need the New Letts which are similar cover to the old NFER/Letts.
