Hi can someone tell me pls which are the best number books to use to build vocabulary for 10 year old from Steve Curran range of books. I hear some are too easy and didn't want to waste money getting.

thanks.

Hi alberta! :D
For my nine years old DS, I bought the 8 to 12 books, which correspond to the more advanced level. However, when starting the book, 8, I realised it was a bit too challenging for him, so I bought the book 7 and we are trying to work from there (though we hardly find the time to do regular work  )

I would suggest you a similar approach: as your DS is 10 years old, maybe buy the books 11 and 12 for a start and see how he is performing at the beginning of book 11.

Thanks Jane, there are so many different books out there that it just gets confusing!! That is really helpful. I know what you mean about the time to do the regular work. I feel the same

thanks again
