complete the sequence 740 739 735 726 the answer is 710 but could somone show me how

Square root of 16 = 4
4 x 3 =12

square root of 49 = 7
7 x 2 = 14

square root of 100 = 10
10 x 3 = 30


(11[13]5) (9[7]6) (13[?]7) the answer is 13

11 minus 5 = 6
6 doubled plus 1 = 13

9 minus 6 = 3
3 doubled plus 1 = 7

13 minus 7 = 6
6 doubled plus 1 = 13
