more 5th, Q:73-76

a,b,c,d and e are five towns. c is due west of b and due north of a. a is east of e and b is due south of d.
Q:73, which town is north east of c? the answer d
Q74, which town is furthest west ?the answer e
Q75, how many towns are north of b?the answer 1
Q76: which town is south west of c? the answer e

can anyone please explain how is this work out?

I find diagrams are really good for this type of question. Draw a map using info given and then the answers are easy to work out

thankyou , as my english is second language iam not that good at some meaning of the word , like c is due to the west of b and due north of a, i didn't understand so had any easy way to do explanation.please

due west means to left of , the word due in this case just means straight to the west of ..

SO c is to the left of b and directly above a, e is to the left of a, d is directly above b.



I tried to do a diagram but couldn;t get it to appear correctly on the screen!
