Question re: IPS 11+ VR Method and Technique book

Hi, I have recently bought this book but my son is currently concentrating on NVR. We'll start on this book in a weeks time but just want to ask if there are any styles of questions in this book that I definitely don't need to cover with him, he will be sitting the 11+ in Lincolnshire.

You need to cover them all. Lincolnshire VR test draws from a wide range of question types, more than most other areas, and most types, though not all, are covered in this book.
