Every other one, first sequence: 7, 9, 11, second sequence: 9, 18, 27

A Fibonacci sequence, although quite an unusual one, and the answer has to be an error. (I stand to be corrected, but 71 simply does not follow from a sequence of even numbers.)

"Can I add the first number to the second one and make the third?"

12 + 8 = 20
8 + 20 = 28
20 + 28= 48
48 + 28 = 76
