Do you really mean Reading girls - or do you mean Kendrick?

I'll assume Kendrick since Reading girls is not a school to aspire to generally.

Kendrick is standard format not MC. The exams are written by GL assessment but past papers are not available. The normal GL assessment ones are a good guideline. You will find more info on both Kendrick and Reading boys in the Berks section under regions

Thank you for your helpful reply.

I had read that reading girls school may admit 42 pupils who are selected by ability and wasn't sure what that meant.

it is true that they do that - I believe with support from Kendrick - and I am sure its better than the rest of that school.

It says NFER which is now GL assessment in VR, NVR & Maths. No indication is given as to whether MC or STD but since Kendrick use GL for VR and NVR and they do STD format you might infer they do the same but that's just a guess. I'd just give them a call and ask.
