My daughters sat several entrance exams at both 11+ and 13+ (inc. Malvern St James) and my experience is that most schools are trying to achieve the same thing ie. look for a rounded sound knowledge of essential Maths and English skills and then the verbal reasoning test. The interviews (usually with the Head) are a way of finding out more about their outside interests ie music, sport etc.

You can get practice 11+ packs and VR tests. We did one of each with the girls just to get the used to the pressure of a 'timed situation' as this was oen they not familiar with.

PS They are both doing very well at MSJ
