The Walsh Series
Hi
Can anyone shed some light on the Walsh series of papers. From what I have heard on the forum they are harder than other publishers. All I wanted to ask was whether all the Walsh series are similar to each other in terms of difficulty or do they get harder progressively ?
Thanks for your help

Re: The Walsh Series
All students, including me, seem to find them harder than other papers. I always recommend leaving them until last as students can be very disheartened by their score. There are eight papers which come into two separate books and seems to be all the same level. The tutors papers are also quite hard and Bright Sparks. DG
Re: The Walsh Series
Walsh are harder in respect of Vocabulary, I only use them in my sessions with the children. There are 3 books covering 12 tests. The last book has a bizarre odd question type which is a throw back to the old style VR tests. All tests are of a similar difficulty.
The Tutors full tests are within the easy to medium range.
Bright Sparks are relatively close in difficulty to the real tests.
