How to get hold of 'Olive Green' VR? - v v expensive!

Hi
Happy New Year.
A school we are considering suggests applicants practise VR from the book below. Why is this book so expensive and any ideas how/where I can source more cheaply? Thanks:

I think that it is simply out of print which means that anyone who happens to have one can profit! It is interesting that the school has not updated their list recently. There is nothing special about this paper, there are a series of colour coded Go Practice papers but there are plenty of other papers which are just as good. I have it somewhere but would always recommend Walsh and Bright Sparks, Athey and IPS. DG

Thanks - find it odd they recommend a few specific books & not say anything by Athey etc? There are others on there that they state are difficult to get hold of as out of print etc this wasn't one. As you say must be out of date etc.

Search for the ISBN in Amazon, then "See newer version of this item". These books have been re-packaged many times, but it's simply the "11+ Practice Papers Standard Verbal Reasoning (Letts 11+ Practice Papers)"

Most recent, standard format or multiple choice, verbal reasoning test papers from Letts (or GL) would be the newer version and cost about £10 per pack of 4 papers. Also available from shop here.

Thanks so much, will order. Any idea why a school would pluck a specific one seemingly out of the air to recommend?

I would think it has been cut and pasted from previous lists and just has not been actually checked recently. What is so interesting is that nobody has contacted the school about it. Does this mean that parents are taking advice from tutors and ignoring the list from the school! DG

These are the old names - new versions are available under the GL Assessment logo - the contents are exactly the same
