hi, my DD attends a tuition centre and they ask pupil to do this type of practice as part of VRl lesson, e.g.

"9 is 4 more than half this number"
"18 is 4 less than twice this number"

and it is under title "practice type twenty-four".

my feeling is this type of question might appear in the past test paper some way and no longer use, since I cannot find it within 21 types in IPS. can someone confirm this?

thanks a lot.

Not a GL assessment style question.

At a push could be part of a Z question (lots of information with one question)

Perhaps you should be questioning your tuition centre to ensure they are teaching the correct syllabus. There are tutors/centres out there who teach irrelevant types.

Many thanks Patricia for confirmation! I really appreciate it! I will talk to the tuition centre about this.

best regards
