26 + 4 = 30/ 2 = 15
8 + 30 = 38/2 = 17 (Should read 19, as pointed out later. )

This type of question usually has 2 examples. Difficult to establish a pattern with only one. Where are these questions from?

Could this one not be
3+11 = 14, 14/2 =7
9+17 = 26, 26/2= 13?

Or do you actually have the answers and they are 7 and 7?

Usually there are two wxples and candidate has to work out third from memory.. Question was a bit vague
