pass mark advice
We are in wirral where the pass mark is about 85%,my son is scoring about 95% ,though he always struggles on vocab type questions, like most boys.
My question is, should we just continue to practice papers or should we invest in the vocab cd and concentrate on that (if he can only increase score by 5% is it worth making him do the extra work involved!)
The exam is late Nov/early Dec so about 12 weeks to go
any advice or opinions welcome
thanks Pensby

Is that correct about 85% being the passmark or is this an approximation?
It's just nice to know what to aim for as an understandable percentage. I suppose it depends on the child's age etc.

I live on the Wirral. Daughter Wll be taking the Verbal Reasoning exam and hoping to get into Wirral Grammar for Girls. Unfortunately her primary school is not a "feeder" for the Grammar and only a handful of her year will sit the 11+ so information is scant.
