Confusing Verbal Reasoning Question
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out verbal reasoning questions and could you guys help me out?
For example, let's think of a sentence like "The Y theorists assume employees may be ambitious and self-motivated and exercise self-control."
According to the sentence above, the claim such as "The Y theorists assume employees are ambitious and self-motivated." is;
(a) True
(b) False
(c) Cannot say

Re: Confusing Verbal Reasoning Question
(b) false - for the same reason Kenyancowgirl gave for the other question VR posted. First sentence says may be; second says are. By saying may be, you must assume some are not!
