 Post subject: help with question types

Just come across these question types and am in desperate need of help to fully understand them!!

Please HELP!!

Fill in the missing word on the right;
glance, prance glide, (..........)

Fill in the missing word on the right;
HARM (WARM) COOL : NAPPY (..........) SAD

If glance became prance, then gl became pr.
So, glide would become pride.

If HARM became WARM, then the first letter of the left hand word changed to create a word that has the opposite meaning to the right hand word, i.e. COOL.
NAPPY, therefore, would become HAPPY (the opposite of SAD).

Thanks... We both understand it now...

Can you advise on where we can get practice questions for these types.

Please send me a link or any advice that you can. I can't seem to locate this type of question anywhere...

Have you tried the tutors downloads from this site?

They are excellent. CD1 has practice by question type and CD2 has mixed tests.

They also do a free download, methods and techniques. I can thoroughly recommend them.
