I have not come across this type of VR q's. Whats the best technique to tackle this q type? Is it merelly having wide range of vocab and compound words.

Hi patricia thanks for the response.
Here goes:
Find a word that can be put in front of each of the following to make new compound words
- weight back mill clip (Ans paper)
- box directory number reciever (Ans telephone)
- take stand wear (Ans under)
- breeze side front food (Ans sea)

Next question is this standard format or multiple choice, if its multiple choice, then putting the words in front of the ones given should be of help. If std form it become a little trickier. Knowledge of compound words definetley a big bonus, see the following thread.

If it was MCQ the no problemo but its standard format- some problemo.

How would you get your students to answer the previously stated q's- as suggested is it either you know it or dont ans I suppose it depens on exetent of students vocab
