In this paper, one of the 'missing words' rounds contains REDE (counsel or advice) as well as a more common word I can't remember. My son thought about this, decided he had come across the word REDE before and went onto the next question.
My suspicion is that he didn't actually know the word as he couldn't define it afterwards, but his general griping over having to do practice papers was exacerbated by 'silly questions where there were two perfectly valid answers'.
Is there a list of words the VR questions are taken from or any other guide to which words are valid and which aren't.
