Confused - What is HIKNOS?
Hello all,
I have been trawling the Herts (incl Ldn Boro of Barnet) section of this site and a couple of posts have mentioned HIKNOS when talking about VR - can someone enlighten me please - what ist it? What does it stand for?
DS will be sitting QE exams this year and I have the Susan Daughtry techniques, further practice and graded test papers, Her bright Sparks pack 1, NFER VR multiple choice.
Thanks in anticipation

Dear Cool mum
HIKNOS are 6 types of questions as identified by the publishers IPS. If you take a look at the Tutors demo they are types 16 - 21.
NFER Verbal Reasoning in Multiple Choice form, if bought from a shop or the internet only contain 15 types of questions. However many schools/areas [including Bucks County] use 21 types.
The extra 6 are HIKNOS. Hence if your area uses 21 types, when using Nfer shop/internet bought tests, you must make sure you also practice HIKNOS
