Is this a real question from a reputable source?

Hi

It's not a reputable source, but I've gone over it many many times using all permutations and can't figure.

Don't want to contact the Author until I'm sure there's no answer.

thanks

Err, Patricia are you there. I have no idea - nor has my son who scored 141 in both his tests last year... obviously getting more difficult or its a misprint.

My daughter says it is 24 !! Reason being -

18 divided by 9 = 2 +18(last number in bracket!) =20
4 divided by 2 = 2 + 4 (last number in bracket!) = 6
18 divided by 3 = 6 +18 (last number in bracket!) = 24!!!!

Hope it's right!

Glad it's all finished !!!! :-)

Well you are very welcome - Let's hope she was bright enough to pass!

She says todays test went really well & she came home beaming !! I guess it was because she is good at the maths ones, she's pretty good at vocab though to! Fingers crossed for the 24th !!! :-)

I am using also papers from another source which are much difficult than what I have downloaded from here. Although the Papers here are excellent, I think the difficulty level is not as hard.

I suspect these are the type she'll be getting on the real exam.

These can seriously delay her timing when she tries to resolve and I'm worried about these,
