thank goodness then that Cambridge ignore personal statements when deciding on admissions

I think if they want you enough the personal statement is not that important. Miss Yoyo had no "accomplishments" (other than working etremely hard and loving her subject) on the personal statement but she was accepted by a Russell group university. Royal Holloway even offered her as place conditional on 2 E's.
