Good luck to every one too - I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

So far, I've managed to do a load of housework and the packed lunches for tomorrow, just to keep myself busy. DH should be home soon hopefully, then the celebrations can begin!

We couldn't have done it without this website and all you lot - it's been great knowing that there are other parents out there going through the same thing, it makes it a lot less lonely (and makes me feel a lot less mad)!!!

Yipee DS got a Guaranteed Place with a score of 361! My older son is at WCGS in year 9 so we are not applying for anything else as he would rather be with his brother, I can now relax and enjoy Autumn/Winter stressfree

Congrats and thanks to everyone for the invaluable advice pre exams! DS also managed a guaranteed place!! So relieved after all the unwanted last minute stress with tutors (see my earlier feeds) and now we feel thoroughly vindicated in going it alone. DS is over the moon.

Just one thing though, the letter says the place is only guaranteed if you put WCGS down as first preference. DS rather wanted to try for Wilsons but if he puts Wilsons first preference then doesn't get a place would he also lose out on his guaranteed WCGS place - does anyone know or can point me in the right direction?? Only 2 weeks to get the CAF submitted.....decisions, decisions.
