Hi everybody,

Got Nonsuch test result for 2010 admission, a pass, but like many I am in doubt as to the actual chances for a place.

I would like information about last year admission, to make a better guess. I know admission has change but I could still work something out.

What was the score and rank of the last offers on waiting list by ability?
And score and rank of last offers on waiting list by catchment?

Many thanks

Giulio,

Have sent you a p.m. but seems to be sitting in my outbox. Let me know if you don't get it.

2outof3 I would be very grateful if you could please send me a pm re the very same question. We have emailed Nonsuch today re this very same question and have also asked why they are not disclosing rank orders so parents can make more of an informed choice regarding inclusion on the CAF form. Many thanks in advance

curious, I have done the same, they replyed very quickly saying "go away" (or something to that effect)

so I emailed them again, quoting the Freedom of Information Act; according to that law they have 20 days to reply, wait and see... I will post the answer here, if I get one

You will be very unlikely to get anything out of Nonsuch, whose contempt for applying parents is second only to that they display for local residents.

Mind you, they are, some might say, just protecting their interests - after all, making public any order of merit could well lay bare one of those situations where 20 or so pupils sat the test a week after sitting exactly the same test at another school!

However, there is a new Head now, from the real world of the private sector, where you can't do everything behind closed doors, because parents are so much more demanding, so you never know...

Huntie, you have obliquely mentioned this several times, please could you explain?
