 Post subject: Standardised Scores
PostPosted: Wed Sep 28, 2005 9:57 am
Visted Nonsuch school in Cheam yesterday. Last year's pass mark was 339 standardised score combined for VR & Maths.
Can anyone tell me what this means in terms of raw score for a 80 question VR paper and 50 Question Maths paper. My daughter will be 10.8 years on the day of the test.

Looked at the national NFER age standardisation tables but this does not help me much apart from understanding the process. Perhaps someone with knowledge of local context can help.

Just want to get a feel for what sort of scores my daughtet should be achieving in the practice papers. Heard consistent 80% scores in practice papers are a good guide. How safe is this sssumption?
