Yes but I think it is fair to say there will have been familes with daughters in year 5 who also came for a look around, so may not be as bad as it seems ....

Last year 1288 girls applied for Nonsuch (I was looking on their website this week and found the number) so 1400 this year isn't an unthinkable figure.
